Cairns man dies crashing bike on popular training circuit
A CAIRNS man has died after crashing his bicycle on a popular training route in Kanimbla.The 62-year-old from Whitfield had left home for a ride around 5pm yesterday, but family called police when he failed to return and was overdue.Police searching the area found him down an embankment off Lake Morris Rd around 10.45pm.Emergency services attended but the man died at the scene.The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.Anyone with information which could assist with this mat..>> view originalCairns police officer to face court for alleged assault of tourist
